Leadership
Y. Sreenivasa Raju – Managing Partner
With over 25 years in public infrastructure and finance, Mr. Raju has led landmark urban development initiatives, including ₹5,000 crore mobilization for housing projects during his tenure at AP TIDCO. His experience across municipal governance, urban planning, and grassroots social programs enables AssetRise to integrate large-scale, socially responsible development.
Qualifications: B. Com, B.L., PG Diploma in Computer Applications.
Mr. Y. Sreenivasa Raju is a seasoned public sector leader with over 25 years of distinguished experience in public administration, infrastructure development, and institutional finance. Known for his strategic foresight, executional discipline, and commitment to public value, Mr. Raju has consistently driven impactful outcomes across complex, multi-stakeholder environments—particularly in the areas of urban housing, civic infrastructure, and developmental finance.
In his prior leadership roles, including as Senior General Manager at Rajiv Swagruha Corporation and Chief Accounts Officer at the Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation (AP TIDCO), Mr. Raju played a critical role in mobilizing large-scale project finance. At AP TIDCO, he was instrumental in securing over ₹5,000 crore in institutional funding to support mass urban housing initiatives, and in facilitating an additional ₹1,000 crore in beneficiary-linked loans to enhance last-mile credit access for economically weaker sections. His responsibilities spanned comprehensive financial stewardship—including budgeting, fund disbursement, utilization monitoring, and compliance with statutory and audit frameworks.
Mr. Raju brings deep institutional knowledge and has worked in close collaboration with the Departments of Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD), Finance, and Planning. He has led key initiatives integrating administrative approvals, technical clearances, and e-procurement systems through the Andhra Pradesh Development and Smart Services (APDSS) platform. His expertise in developing database-driven project monitoring systems has been pivotal in ensuring timely execution, fiscal accountability, and transparency in public infrastructure projects.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Raju served with the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Kadapa, where he managed diverse grassroots programs spanning social welfare, monitoring and evaluation, and administrative operations. His leadership in forming and empowering Self-Help Groups (SHGs), facilitating bank credit linkages, promoting income generation initiatives, and advancing organic farming practices has had a lasting impact on inclusive and sustainable rural development.
Mr. Raju holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. This multidisciplinary background reinforces his capacity to bridge policy design with technical governance.

K. V. Subramanyam Raju – Designated Partner
A highly respected veteran of the Indian banking and legal sectors, he brings 40+ years of deep expertise in distressed asset resolution, corporate insolvency, and legal execution. Formerly Chief Manager at Union Bank of India and Court Officer at NCLT Hyderabad, his dual mastery in banking operations and legal enforcement gives AssetRise a unique, execution-ready edge.
Qualifications: M.Sc., M.Phil., B.L., JAIIB, ICSI IBC Certified, Advocate – Telangana High Court.
Mr. Subramanyam Raju is a distinguished veteran of the Indian banking and legal sectors, with a career spanning over four decades. His expertise is rooted in banking operations, credit management, distressed asset resolution, and corporate insolvency. Renowned for his analytical precision and deep regulatory knowledge, Mr. KVS Raju has a proven track record of navigating high-stakes financial environments and architecting value from complex asset situations.
His extensive banking career began at Andhra Bank and culminated with his superannuation as Chief Manager from Union Bank of India. Over the years, he held leadership positions across diverse geographies and specialized in key functions such as high-value credit appraisal, Non-Performing Asset (NPA) management, and loan restructuring—consistently upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
His experience extends into the specialized domain of legal and insolvency proceedings. As a former Court Officer at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Hyderabad, he was directly involved in significant insolvency and company law cases, gaining firsthand experience with the intricacies of the corporate resolution framework. Furthermore, as an Authorised Officer under the SARFAESI Act, he possesses extensive, hands-on expertise in the end-to-end resolution of distressed assets.
This powerful combination of banking acumen and legal expertise is reinforced by his academic and professional qualifications. He holds Master's degrees in Science (M.Sc.) and Philosophy (M.Phil.), a Bachelor of Law (B.L.), and is a Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB). He is also certified in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and is an Advocate enrolled with the Telangana High Court, giving him a unique 360-degree perspective on financial challenges.

As Founder of SmartSteps Consulting and former State Head at Max New York Life, he brings strategic agility and execution playbooks to guide AssetRise’s growth, operational scaling, and investor engagement.

He possesses a formidable track record in scaling large business operations, driving strategic growth in competitive sectors, and building successful, value-driven entrepreneurial ventures from the ground up.
As the Founder & Managing Director of SmartSteps Consulting Private Limited, Sreenath has dedicated over seventeen years to building an organization focused on human capital development. His leadership at SmartSteps, a venture committed to enhancing employability and delivering critical life skills, showcases his expertise in creating sustainable, socially conscious business models that address fundamental market needs.
Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Sreenath held senior leadership roles within the fast-growing Indian insurance sector. As a Managing Partner and State Head at Max New York Life, and prior to that, as a Territory Manager at ICICI Prudential, he held comprehensive general management roles, successfully executing major expansion plans that included establishing multiple new branches across the state with exceptional performance.
Sreenath holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), and a professional degree as Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
